Local cricket clubs across England and Wales are being given the chance to go head-to-head against former England captain Michael Vaughan and his team of cricket legends thanks to the NatWest Locals v Legends T20 Series.

Giving teams the chance to create their own unique piece of history, NatWest Cricket Club captain, Michael Vaughan says, “Every local cricket club has its own legends who, on their day, believe that they can compete against the best.  The NatWest Locals v Legends T20 Series will allow three grassroots clubs to win the chance for my team of former England stars to come and play them at their home ground for a one off match to raise funds for their club.”

Royal Ascot Cricket Club will host the game on their home turf which will provide a great opportunity to get the local community involved and raise vital funds through activities such as selling tickets, organising a BBQ and opening up the bar to satisfy the appetite of their club members and wider community.

We’ll be regularly updating you over the next three weeks on what’s happening on the day.

• Carriages around 7.30pm

We’re planning lots of activities in our ‘villages’ around the ground. These are:

• Cricket Coaching for all the family
• Food and Beverage
• Childrens’
• Hospitality

There will be an outdoor bar, hogs roast, ice cream van, kids entertainment, raffle and cricket coaching going on throughout the day and we’ll give further details of these nearer the time. Please bookmark this page and watch this space

General Admission Tickets (free car parking within the racecourse) will be on sale from the clubhouse:

• Adult tickets are £10
• Under 18 tickets are £2

Hospitality Package for clubhouse/marquee. You and your guests will have a fantastic day:

• A seated, under cover, Afternoon Cricket Tea with the NatWest Legend players before the match starts (around 1pm)
• A special Q&A with Michael Vaughan and a couple of other players before the match – be a secret insider
• An auction where you’ll be able to bid for several special pieces of cricket memorabilia
• Access to the clubhouse and bar – which will be restricted to hospitality guests and players on the day
• Priority free parking behind the clubhouse

Hospitality package is £550 for a table of 10 or £60 for an individual ticket.
