We are sorry to bring you the news that Richard “Dick” Coxell has recently passed away.

Dick was a stalwart of the Club for many years and, although more recent members will not have met him, he had already been very active on the off-field functions for many years before becoming an Honorary Life Member in 1993.

He then joined the committee and served for 19 years whilst variously looking after the pavilion, bar and being co-groundsman.

He continued to visit the club after 2012 but ill-health meant this could not continue and he spent the last few years in Lynwood Nursing Home.
